  • What is Being Done to Protect Nevada?: Transportation Issues
    • The U.S. Department of Transportation and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission have the responsibility to set regulations and practices for the ransportation of high-level radioactive waste. Representatives from these federal agencies and stakeholders from the State of Nevada have been invited to participate in a presentation and education panel discussion on transportation issues. Refreshments will be provided. More information on speakers and agenda will be available through the press closer to the time of the presentation.
