The NIMH gateway gives links to research reports & fact sheets, educational & information programs, and information on NIMM-funded grants.

The NIAAA provides leadership in the national effort to reduce alcohol-related problems. In addition to information about the agency, the website presents links to publications, databases, clinical trials, and research.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) (http://www.samhsa.gov/index.aspx)
SAMHSA's mission is to build resilience and facilitate recovery for people with or at risk for substance abuse and mental illness. Along with offering resources and publications on mental illness and addictions, the site includes links to latest news updates, SAMHSA grant information, and statistical sources.

Prevline is SAMHSA's National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information (NCADI) and is “the Nation's one-stop resource for information about substance abuse prevention and addiction treatment.” The site contains information on specific drugs, issues related to addictions, recent news updates, and a variety of other addiction-related resources.

The NIDA website provides research and publications focusing on drug abuse for researchers & health professionals; parents and teachers, and students & young adults.

 National Association for Children of Alcoholics (NACoA) (http://www.nacoa.org/)
NACoA is the national nonprofit organization charged with working on behalf of children affected by alcoholism and other drug dependencies. Site includes research and newsletter publications, as well as information for health professionals, children, and clergy.
