University Libraries' copy of "Rembrandt: The Master & His Workshop" was rebound by the Preservation/Conservation Laboratory. What makes this title special? It represents the first leather re-binding for our lab. In this case, the book was bound in black leather, with gold lettering. In the past, our Lab has typically used book cloth in our re-bindings. Of course, we will still continue to use book cloth for most items. But, this work represents a step forward, in offering an elevated level of skill and service, in preserving our collections.

Yes, this book is part of the circulation collection, and it is available for check out by library patrons. It's call number N 6953.R4 A4 1991a v.1
