In memory of Dr. Fred Preston, long-time UNLV professor, the Preservation/Conservation Laboratory was asked by the College of Liberal Arts to create a memorial book. This book was hand-bound in red cloth (representative of the school's colors), and hand-made marbled papers were used for the end leaves. Included in the book were ample blank pages for signatures, a photograph on the title page, a biographical article by Bo Bernhard, and a gold ribbon book mark. The gold stamping on the front cover is courtesy of Pat McCarty. This project was coordinated by Lea Sexton, Wilson Advising Center.
