Original "Map of J.C. Fremont's 1842 Expedition" for the Nevada State Museum (February 2009)

This original lithographic map of Fremont's 1842 expedition was sent to the Preservation/Conservation Laboratory, from the Nevada State Museum.
It was in fragile condition due to the overall deterioration and general wear & tear of the paper.
The map was backed using a high-quality acid-free mulberry paper and methyl cellulose, greatly reinforcing it's integrity.
Later, the document was encapsulated in an acid-free mylar encasing.
Note: the 3rd image shows the Las Vegas area.
