Admittedly, the job of pasting bookplates in a book is not exactly a technical challenge.
However, the Preservation/Conservation Laboratory does take this simple task seriously,
especially when the bookplates are from the "Honor with Books" program. Individuals can donate to the UNLV Libraries through this program, to recognize special occasions or to memorialize loved ones.
Gifts of $100.00 or more are recognized with the placement of book plates in selected volumes.
These plates are carefully handled by the Preservation/Conservation Laboratory.
