Hours of Operation

  • Monday - Friday:8:30am - 4:30pm
  • Saturday: 8:30am - 4:30pm

  • Exceptions: New Year Day, Thanksgiving Day,Christmas Day (closed)


The largest collection consists of Ancestral Pueblo (Anasazi) period artifacts with an extensive pottery collection dating from ca. C.E. 600 to 1200. The museum also houses prehistoric artifacts from Southern Nevada including stone tools, some dating to 2000 years ago. There are also historic and contemporary arts and crafts from the Southwest United States as well as documents relating to the Civilian Conservation Corps and their work in creating the Lost City museum in 1935.
