<bioghist encodinganalog="545"><head>Organizational History</head><p>The Eberhardt &amp; Aurora Mining Company was located in White Pine County, Nevada outside of the city of Hamilton. Eberhardt, a British owned company, founded in 1869, was one of the primary silver mines in Nevada. In 1871 the owner of the mine began extensive construction on the camp. The mining company built a post office, saloons, wagon shop, carpenter shop, blacksmith stores, and several other buildings and businesses. By 1885, however, the company shut down after irregular operations. </p></bioghist><scopecontent encodinganalog="520"><head>Scope and Content</head>
