Biographical Sketch

Mike Malone, a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Officer, served as a Republican State Assemblyman for the 4th District from 1979-1985. He served on the Judiciary and Education Committees and as State Senator for the 6th District from 1986-1990. In the Senate he served on the Judiciary and Legislative Affairs and Operations Committees, the latter of which he chaired.

Scope and Content

The collection contains unsorted newspaper clippings, campaign material, Assembly and Senate bills, and enrolled bills and resolutions for the 1983 and 1989 legislative sessions. Also included are minute books from the 1983 Judiciary and Education Committees.
