Collection is comprised of George E. Franklin Sr.'s original typescript manuscripts (with edits) for his two books: The Fallacy of Appeasement (essays on US foreign policy spanning from WW II through Castro and Viet Nam) and From Cotswolds to High Sierras (autobiography—boys life in England, emigrating to the western US in the early 1900’s at age 12). He designed the Franklin engine and was a successful businessman in Las Vegas in 1940s-1950s.
