  • Q: How do I get a student ID Card (Rebel Card)?
    A:
At least 36 hours after registering for classes, go to the RebelCard Services Center in room 160 of the Student Union. Don't forget to activate your RebelCash while you are there.
  • Q: How do I check out books?
    A:
Register your student ID to use as a library card. You can do this in person at the Circulation Desk in Lied Library or at the main desk in the Architecture Studies Library, Curriculum Materials Library, or Music Library. This barcode number is also your user name to log into the library computers. For new students your password is the last four digits of your phone number.
  • Q: How do I log on to library computers?
    A:
Once you have registered your RebelCard for use at the library, you will use your barcode number to log into the computer. For new students your password will be the last four digits of your phone number.
  • Q: How do I log on to campus computers?
    A:
You can sign up for a logon for Student Computing Resources (computer labs and computer classrooms) at any open computer lab. This is different from your log on for library computers.
  • Q: How do I get a RebelMail account (campus e-mail account)?
    A:
You can activate your account online at http://rebelmail.unlv.edu/activate_account.html
  • Q: How do I add money to my RebelCard (RebelCash)
    A:
If you are a new student your RebelCard will automatically be activated for RebelCash. If you received your RebelCard before Fall 2006, you may need to activate your card to use this feature. RebelCash allows you to add money to your card for purchases throughout campus. In the library you need to use RebelCash to purchase copies and printouts. RebelCash can also be used to pay library fines, purchase food on campus, purchase items at the UNLV Bookstore, and even at some locations off campus. You can add money to your card using cash in a Value Transfer Station (VTS) or you can add money via credit card online.
  • Q: How do I activate my WebCampus account?
    A:
    See https://webcampus.nevada.edu/webct/entryPage.dowebct for instructions.
  • Q: How do I access library resources from home?
    A:
Students, faculty, staff and others affiliated with UNLV have access to most library resources from home. If you meet the requirements you will be able to access the databases by providing your barcode and Library PIN when prompted.
