Guest Scholar with Borrowing Privileges
Who is eligible: Current students, faculty, or staff from a two or four year, non-profit academic institution located outside of Clark County, Nevada. Guest Scholars must reside outside of Clark County, Nevada.
Registration Requirements: Must show government issued photo ID & provide proof of current enrollment/employment, and provide a current, valid credit card
Borrowing Privileges:
- 3 week check-out
- 2 renewals
- 10 item limit
- Extended use fees
Course Reserves:
- Access to print reserves
Computer Privileges:
- In-house access to UNLV's licensed electronic resources (occasional exceptions due to some product licenses)
- In-house and remote access to the Library Catalog and Library web site
- Internet access
- Use of public access scanning stations in Lied and ASL
- Computer use is limited to specially designated Academic Guests Computers in Lied Library
- Guest Wireless
- Need-based use of assistive technology computers
- Need-based use of microform reader/scanner computers
Printing and photocopying:
- Photocopies: $.15/page (for color and black and white)
- Printing
- Color: $.40/page
- Black & White: $.03/page
Media Materials:
- Viewing in-house
Restrictions (services and resources not available to this user group):
- Not allowed to recall checked-out items
- Interlibrary Loan

- Remote access to UNLV's licensed electronic resources
- Use of productivity software (i.e. Microsoft)
- Use of Multimedia Design Studio
- Laptop Checkout
- Use of Group Study Rooms in Lied library
