These guidelines apply to the use of resources and facilities at Lied Library. The Wiener-Rogers Law Library may have different guidelines.

Who is eligible: Currently enrolled students of the William S. Boyd School of Law who have registered at the Law Library; Valid RebelCard

Registration Requirements: Must be registered at the Law Library to have privileges with all UNLV Libraries

UNLV Borrowing Privileges

  • Allowed to recall and place holds on checked-out items
  • Unlimited book checkout
  • Semester checkout
  • 2 renewals
  • Extended use fees

Course Reserves:

  • Access to print reserves
  • Access to electronic reserves

Computer Privileges:

  • In-house access to University Libraries' licensed electronic resources
  • Remote access to University Libraries' licensed electronic resources
  • In-house and remote access to the Library Catalog and Library web site
  • Internet access
  • UNLV Wireless access
  • Laptop Checkout
  • Use of scanners
  • Use of productivity software (i.e. Microsoft)

Printing and photocopying:

  • Photocopies: $.15/page (for color and black and white)
  • Printing
    • Color: $.40/page
    • Black & White: $.03/page

Media Materials:

Restrictions (services and resources not available to this user group):
  • Interlibrary Loan (This service is available through the Law Library)
