Online Education Eligibility and Library Account Activation

Eligible Users

• At this time, only students who are taking classes with no on campus component are eligible for the library's online education services.
• Students who are taking on campus courses, or who are not enrolled at UNLV, are not eligible for these services.
• Students in the following programs should check the web pages listed below for specific information about the library services available to them
  • Singapore Campus
  • Online Nursing Students (including Manila students)
  • Shadow Lane

Activate Your Library Account

• You need to activate your barcode with the library in order to use Interlibrary Loan and for remote access to library resources.
  • If you do not have a RebelCard a barcode will be assigned after you fill out the activation form.
  • You will need your NSHE Number to make the request. This number is included on correspondence from the Registrar's Office.
  • A PIN will be issued when you activate your account.
• To check out books at UNLV Libraries in person you will need to register your RebelCard in person at any UNLV Libraries Circulation Desk.
