Maps

UNLV Libraries provides access to an extensive collection of all types of maps, with a particular focus on Las Vegas, Nevada, and the Southwestern United States.

Physical maps are found in three locations:

  1. UNLV Libraries' Special Collections (3rd Floor, Lied Library) - Holdings include historical local and regional maps. Maps in Special Collections
  2. UNLV Libraries Government Publications (2nd Floor, Lied Library) - Topographic, U.S. Forest Service, Geologic, Census, BLM, USGS, CIA, and National Park Maps for Nevada and the Southwestern U.S.

  3. Architecture Studies Library - The Architecture Studies Library (ASL) Special Collections Map Collection includes historical and current maps from Nevada agencies primarily in Southern Nevada, in addition to local topographical and Landiscor aerial maps and links to digital orthophoto quadrangles.

The library also has a growing number of regional maps available online.
