This makes government publications one of the most important research tools for many types of research in a variey ofsubjects. Government publications can cover virtually any subject, including Congressional laws and hearings, nutrition, crime, diseases, endangered species, and immigration.
Government Publications at UNLV Libraries
UNLV Libraries is the largest holder of Government Publications—both Federal and region-related—in Southern Nevada. As a selective federal depository, Lied Library collects approximately 70% of the publications distributed by the Federal Depository Library Program [1]. These have been selected to meet the needs of the UNLV and Las Vegas communities. The Library receives these publications free of charge and agrees to provide free public access to them.
