Introduction to Library Giving
The UNLV Libraries support the mission of the University to emerge as a premier metropolitan university. The Libraries build collections and provide access to information and services to support teaching, learning, research, and creative endeavors.
As well as fostering information literacy amongst the UNLV community, the Libraries acquire, organize, and store intellectual and research products of scholars worldwide. The Libraries also provide on-demand access to resources for UNLV's faculty and students.
Private support is essential for building the academic research library of the future. As UNLV becomes a premier metropolitan research institution, the Libraries are a national model for the new academic research library. We pioneer new methods of reaching, connecting with, and engaging learners.
