Supported operating systems

• Windows XP
• Windows 2000
• Windows 98

Sorry, Windows Vista, Mac, and Linux are not supported.

Required software

To install the “print client” which will allow you to connect to library printers, unzip and install the print client software.

Two printers will be installed to your computer.  They will not replace your default printer.  Each time you send something to the printer in the University Libraries, you will need to choose the appropriate printer.

• LaptopBW on UNIPRINT = University Libraries black & white printers
• LaptopCO on UNIPRINT = University Libraries color printers

Additional instructions

Lied Library

• Printing will work with wireless and/or Ethernet (wired) internet access.
• If you choose “LaptopBW” you may pay for and pick up your print job at any black & white printer on floors 1-5.
• If you choose “LaptopCO” you may pay for and pick up your print job at the color printer on the 1st or 2nd floor.

Architecture Studies Library, Curriculum Materials Library, Music Library

• Printing will work only with Ethernet (wired) internet access.
• It will not work with wireless. 
• If your personal laptop computer is not activated for University Libraries Ethernet, you will need to bring it to the Library Computer Help Desk in Lied Library for a short, one-time activation process.  Please bring your RebelCard ID with you.
