Provides general information and data on U.S. agricultural trade with all of the countries and regions of the world. Includes access to data publications such as the U.S. Agricultural Trade (FATUS), Agricultural Outlook, and the U.S. Agricultural Trade Balance.

Economic Research Service (ERS) (http://www.ers.usda.gov/)
The Economic Research Service (ERS) is the main source of economic information from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Registry of U.S. Government Publication Digitization Projects (http://www.registry.fldp.gov)
Contains digital collections of historical USDA materials.

U.S. Government Agency CyberCemetary (http://govinfo.library.unt.edu/default.htm)
The CyberCemetery is an archive of government websites that have ceased operation (usually websites of defunct government agencies and commissions that have issued a final report). This collection features a variety of topics indicative of the broad nature of government information, including USDA and agriculture topics.

Online & Statistical Agricultural Databases

AGRICOLA Database (http://www.nal.usda.gov/ag98/)
Bibliographic database of citations to the agricultural literature created by the National Agricultural Library and others. Electronic records begin with 1970; some have links to full text.

Agriculture Fact Book (http://www.usda.gov/factbook/)
Provides information on American food consumption, the agricultural sector, and rural America. Also includes descriptions of the USDA's programs and services, including farm programs; exports; food safety; nuturition; and management of land, water, and forests.

Census of Agriculture (http://www.nass.usda.gov/census/)
 The Census of Agriculture is the only source of uniform, comprehensive data on agricultural production and operator characteristics for each county and state, and for the U.S..

FAOSTAT (http://faostat.fao.org/)
FAOSTAT consists of online and multilingual databases focusing on international statistics in the following areas: Agriculture, fisheries, nutrition, forestry, and food quality control.

National Agricultural Statistics Service (http://www.nass.usda.gov)
 Provides links to agricultural-related statistical publications, maps and charts, and historical data.

Agricultural Charts & Maps (http://www.nass.usda.gov/Charts_and_Maps/index.asp)
Provides charts and maps on the following agricultural categories: Livestock (including cattle and poultry), crops (including field crops and fruits), economics (including farm labor and grazing fees), and research (including interactive Census data and micromaps).

USDA Nutrient Data Laboratory (NDL) (http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/index.html)
The mission of the NDL is to develop authoritative food composition databases and state of the art methods to acquire, evaluate, compile, and disseminate composition data on foods available in the United States. The NDL web site provides links to datasets regarding food composition products, such as the USDA National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference and Nutrient Lists.
