How do I find study guides for the Praxis tests?
The CML has several Praxis (PPST and PLT) study guides available for checkout. Test preparation information and Tests at a Glance are available for download.
Local testing information can be found on the on the ETS.org Nevada Page. The 2010-2011 Praxis Information Bulletin (.pdf) also includes testing information.
Practice tests are available through LearningExpress Library, including Praxis I (PPST) and Praxis II Content Knowledge, and a range of topics including math and English skills improvement, TOEFL, and graduate school entrance exams. The Praxis practice tests can be found by selecting the "Jobs and Careers" section and then the “Teaching” category.
From off-campus, you will need your UNLV Libraries barcode (usually your RebelCard) and your PIN code.
LearningExpress Library is also available through the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District (click on LearningExpress (Learn a Test). Users of this site need a valid LVCCLD library card and PIN number.
