UNLV Libraries has thousands of books that can be read online. Want to know how to find architecture related e-books?

1. Go to the library catalog for UNLV Libraries (select the "Library Catalog" button at the top of any ASL web page)

2. Select Advanced Search .

3. Keyword is the default dropdown box. Enter electronic books in the first box, then enter architectural design (or whatever topic you are interested in) in the second box.

The electronic books will say "Internet Access" but only some of (not all) the books will be related to architectural building design.

ELECTRONIC PERIODICALS

UNLV Libraries also has access to hundreds of online periodicals. Do you want to see what architecture studies periodicals are available online? [Caution: not all electronic titles will include the images in the paper copy].

1. Go to the library catalog for UNLV Libraries (select the "Library Catalog" button at the top of any ASL web page)

2. Select UNLV print and online journal subscriptions

3. Select "Browse journals by subject". The drop down box shows Art, Architecture & Applied Arts as the first option.

4. The results are divided by topic.
Select a topic [like: Architecture
or: Gardens, Landscape Architecture and Parks]

5. Titles will be listed, as the one below. If the title information says ONLY "in University of Nevada Las Vegas Holdings" it is print ONLY. Other locations (such as LexisNexis or Academic Search Premier in the record below) indicate that at least some of the issues are available electronically (years are shown for each database).
