| Tips on using ASL web pages: Although we have designed the Architecture Studies Libraries pages to be as user friendly and self-evident as possible, there are a few tips we might point out to make your use of these pages more effective. | |
Tip 1: Computers in all of the UNLV Libraries open to the default page of the UNLV Libraries home page. This is not the ASL page. To get to the ASL page, choose Architecture Studies Library from the selection of libraries at the bottom of the page. All ASL pages have a web address [also called URL or Uniform Resource Locator] starting with http://www.library.unlv.edu/arch |

Tip 3: The "Ask a question" link is a good one to draw your attention to. This takes you to a form which when submitted goes to the ASL staff. This is one way to contact us [don’t forget phone and the ever-popular visit to the library!]. You can ask about the web pages, about an assignment, or about information on a topic, and we will reply as quickly as possible. |
|
Tip 4: Before you print out any pages from the ASL site, check “print preview” [see toolbar, “file”] to see how many pages you want to print. Many of our pages look like there is just one screen, but you may get more than you bargained for if you print without checking print preview first. |
