- Funding opportunities for School of Architecture graduate students.
- The Nevada Institute for Children’s Research and Policy (NICRP) is seeking graduate assistants at both the master and doctoral levels. Assistantships will be for the Spring of 2010 (January 11 – May 14 ) with the possibility of a summer extension. Benefits include 100% tuition coverage for up to 9 credits, all student fees, and health insurance. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to literature reviews and article summaries, data entry, transcription, organizing aspects of research projects, and preparation of final reports and manuscripts. Individuals who apply are expected to have exceptional interpersonal skills both in person and over the phone, the ability to be an independent worker and work on a variety of different projects, knowledge of Microsoft office standard programs (word, excel, publisher, power point), and familiarity with SPSS is desired but not required. NICRP conducts academic and community-based research that will guide the development of policies, programs and services which will enhance the health and well-being of Nevada's children.
