    UNLV Klai Juba Lecture Series welcomed

Architect and author James Sanders will discuss “Begin with the Screen: the Architecture of the Movie City” as part of the Klai Juba lecture series at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, inside the Paul B. Sogg architecture building on the UNLV campus. The event will be preceded by a reception in the building’s lobby at 6:30 p.m. Both the lecture and reception are free and open to the public.

Sanders has written for the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, Vanity Fair, and Architectural Record. He has completed design and development projects for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the Parks Council, the Landmarks Preservation Commission, and other civic groups and commercial clients in New York and Los Angeles.
