As a partner with Sottsass and Associates, Ms. Grawunder designed some of the firm's most important projects, including the Wolf House in Colorado, Olabuenaga House in Hawaii, Yuko House in Tokyo, and the Contemporary Furniture Museum in Ravenna, Italy. She currently is director of Grawunder Studio with offices in San Francisco and Milan. 'Abyss,' her most recent work with the Italian glass company Salviati, was nominated for a Compasso D'Oro award. She has also authored a chapter in the new book "Dish: international design for the home," a title featuring new work by women designers.

ourselves : She graduated in Architecture in 1983 from the State Polytechnic of
California at San Luis Obispo after attending her final year of studies
at their campus in Florence. A designer and architect, she now lives
and works in Milan and San Francisco.
