Gallery Exhibit - AIA Design Awards 2005 - on display February 9, 2006 - April 17, 2006

The AIA Nevada Excellence in Design Awards are presented yearly to individuals and firms in recognition for outstanding design work. The type and number of awards earned were determined by jury and include Honor Awards, Merit Awards and Citation Awards (Honor being the most distinguished). In 2005, 69 project submittals were accepted. Of these, 9 projects received awards in the following categories: Built, Unbuilt, Interior Elements, Open Category and Student.

AIA Nevada Design & Service Awards Archive for past years are available online. Entry forms include a project design description, type of construction, square footage, and list of consultants. Photos, drawings, and design sketches for a majority of the projects are on record.

ASL Gallery Exhibit prepared and mounted by Jason Aubin, Library Technician I,
with the assistance of the ASL student assistants.
