Celebrating

American Institute Of Architecture

National Architecture Week

April 9-14, 2007



2007 marks 150 years of service to the nation by the American Institute of Architects (AIA). To celebrate, AIA will launch National Architecture Week with events worldwide. Contact the AIA for special events.

A 24-hour town meeting will be open to the public from 2:00 pm Friday April 13 to 2:00 pm April 14. This will be a charette-style session, with the intent to define how Las Vegas can become a more livable and sustainable community. The ideas generated from this working session will help to formulate the "Blueprint for Las Vegas".

Final presentations and concluding comments will be made to a panel of mayors, political and civic leaders from 12:00 noon through 2:00 pm on April 14. For additional information regarding events call 702.822.6536.
