The Reserve collection contains materials that have been placed on limited, semester, or permanent reserve by the Architecture Studies Library, School of Architecture, or instructors. These materials include UNLV library books, personal books, pamphlets, copies of articles, selected reference books, sample exams, papers, and class assignments. The official Architecture Studies Library Reserves Policy can be found at [http://www.library.unlv.edu/arch/aslreserves/aslpolicy.html].
Anyone with a valid library card that is currently registered in the Library's automated circulation system may check out reserve material. Library cards must be clear of fines or other restrictions to be considered valid. UNLV students, faculty, or staff may access electronic reserves by using their library card.
Loan periods are set by the instructor and cannot be changed without their permission. Reserve material may be checked out for periods of two hours, twenty-four hours, three days, or seven days. Borrowers are limited to two reserve items at any given time. All material is stamped with the due date and time, and must be returned to the ASL Service Desk. Patrons may access as many E-reserves as needed online.

THERE IS NO MAXIMUM FINE AND NO GRACE PERIOD. All materials are due at the date and time stamped on the date due slip. There are no fines on E-reserves.
Faculty or their graduate assistants may request that items be placed on reserve for a class or department. Request forms are available at the ASL Service Desk.
