| Description: | The owner requested an iconic building that would become synonymous with the restaurant’s name and attract the attention of passers by on both W. Flamingo Rd. and the 215 Freeway in Las Vegas, Nevada. The overall design concept of form follows nature was generated from the name Sedona and the nearby Red Rock Canyon National Recreation Area in view of the site to the west. The designers were inspired by the natural forms, textures, plants colors and history of the desert southwest. These elements were used metaphorically to generate form and conceptualize space. |
