| Architectural Elements: | The space has cm abundance of daylighting. Each of the objects in the space either have direct access to the daylighting or have shared benefits through the use of clear panels for the ceiling over the treatment rooms. |
| Description: | The design transforms the clinical perception of a doctor’s office to one of tranquility. The feeling of containment is discarded for a sense of openness. Functions become spatial objects that patients move around and through. Visual interest is enhanced by the abundance of daylight. Shadow patterns playoff the object creating opportunities for a visual stimulation. Simple everyday materials; drywall, wood slats and stone are combined with 3form seaweed glass panels to enliven the space while adding richness to the overall composition. |
