|Architectural Elements:||This project never proceeded beyond concept design, however, there were discussions to design towards LEED certification.|
|Description:||The project program and the site, along 1-15 and virtually at the entrance into the Las Vegas Valley from the south, along with the client's large developments on the opposite side of the freeway presented a unique opportunity to create a dramatic
gateway entrance to Las Vegas.
This proposed resort incorporates all of the components of a European village, while providing all the modem amenities of a Las Vegas Resort. A pedestrian orientated, outdoor village including shopping and restaurants incorporates storefronts that are protected by various canopies and arbors that provide cooling shade as you ascend to a piazza at the entrance to a modem interpretation of a European village that grew and flourished.
The Resort contains both world class guest rooms and suites, as well as condominiums. These residential components all have direct access to the casino, restaurants, health spa
and recreation components providing a relaxing and fulfilling experience.
