|Description:||he strategy is to create a positive impact to this left over piece of land in this fully developed area, maximize the view to the user with canopies and balconies, and transfer the office shell into viewing decks. With many large windows facing the view of The Lakes, the golf course, and the Las Vegas BLVD, we make is a pleasant place to work.
The design is responsive to the local context to create smaller massing of the building. The three steps in the plan generates the view orientation of the building, creates opportunities for corner view offices, and at the same time diminish the big volume of a 5 story building. The layers of balconies and trellis create shadows and interests to the building, makes it break down to smaller scale and adding more details to the building.
The style is simple and clean contemporary, within the budget for a private development project. It gets away from the look of normal office buildings in the valley, and really generates energy for the site, this community and this site.
