To be built on the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Gass Avenue, Quigley's elegant, four-story Le Octaine boasts apartments that seem even more spacious due to their high ceilings and large windows. "The challenge is to make them feel open, and I did that by turning them all onto the two large courtyards," the architect notes. Quigley incorporated commercial space into the lower floors. "It's a simple idea really," he observes, "to animate the street with retail."
