Collection no. 97-19. [Collection documents the Union Pacific Railroad's presence in Las Vegas and Southern Nevada. The collection includes correspondence, documents, booklets, maps, blueprints, drawings, and tracings. Subjects include: Walter Bracken/ Las Vegas Land and Water Co., UPRR Land & Tax Department, UPPR Law Dept., UPRR Engineering & Industrial Development, US Harbor Reports, Tide Lands Abstracts, J. Ross Clark -- 2nd Vice President. Architectural drawings/blueprints include: LV Depot Buildings & Stock Yards, LV Yard Facilities & Systems, LV City Buildings & Improvements, LV RR-Owned Structures "Off Yards", LV Ranch, LV Water Supply, LV Yard Buildings, LV Airports & Air Force Base, Nevada Highways, Boulder City & Henderson, and Nevada Stations South of Las Vegas. Also comprised of numerous ink on linen drawings by the San Pedro, Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad and Union Pacific Railroad for the Southern California and Southern Nevada Region.
