Luxor
Constructed 1991.
Opened October 15, 1993.
- A "sky beam" - reportedly the most powerful light in the world - shoots up from the pyramid's peak at night. It can be seen from an airplane on a clear night from 250 miles away.
- The guest rooms in the pyramid only offer showers, not bathtubs. Plumbing for tubs wasn't possible because of the structure's unique form.
- To reach their guest rooms in the pyramid, guests must use an inclinator, a special elevator that rises at a 39 degree angle.
