National Council of Juvenile & Family Court Judges facility
The exterior of the building is designed to conform to the Campus Design Standards with the use of brick and GFRC and a “Jeffersonian Style.”
The new NCJFCJ is located on the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno directly adjacent to the existing National Judicial college Building. Located between the new Matheson-IGT Center and William Raggio Building, the new facility is designed to adhere to campus design standards utilizing brick and pre-cast concrete panels. The new structure has four levels above the grade and one below the grade and is attached to the existing National Judicial College.
The building will house the administrative offices for NCJFCJ, Family Violence Department, Juvenile and Family Law, Permanency Planning for Children, The Sawyer Center, and satellite offices for the Boyd School of Law. The building will provide approximately 92,000 SF of enclosed space on four floors plus a basement.
