Narrative/Project Description:
The vision of One Queensridge Place was to design a high rise condominium project with stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip and the surroundings of the breathtaking landmark site, Red Rock Canyon, and other vistas. The One Queensridge Place sits on a 20 acre site located northwest of Las Vegas. The surrounding neighborhood offers extraordinary shopping, restaurants, parks, and schools and easy freeway access. These uniquely designed condominiums are private, personal and secure with timeless exterior and interior décor designed with both old and modern worlds in mind to reflect charm and character.
There is an elegant and secure guarded gate entry to the spacious site, enhanced by mature landscaping and winding roadway, and convenient and secure access to the below grade residential garages and guest vistas via grand lobbies.
This project consists of 219 condominium homes located in two 18-story buildings. Each residence is provided with lower level garage parking. Located outside of the secured site is 17,000 feet of office space with direct access to roadways. Many of the unit designs span the entire width of the building showcasing the surrounding scenery that varies from 2,000 square feet to the 15,000 square feet penthouse.
One Queensridge Place offers a unique lifestyle with luxurious spectacular amenities including a wine cellar with private wine storage, a Great Room with billiards, bar and lounge area, a 25-seat media room, an indoor lap pool, an outdoor swimming pool, and a spa and fitness area. Individual balconies are provided for all units.
Sustainability Description:
Many sustainable concepts are included in the building design. The landscape utilizes artificial turf and drought tolerant plants. The below grad e parking lowers the heat island effect of the project. Landscaped pools and fountains act as a reservoir supplementing the central plant cooling towers. The central plant design reflects decisions made to produce an efficient heating and cooling system.
The building envelope was well insulated and sealed to prevent leakage. Glazing systems were chosen for ultra violet reflectance and light transmittance. Durable materials were chosen to ensure a long lasting facility. The concept was to design and build a project so that the individual condominiums and common spaces can survive the test of time.
