Design Approach/Narrative: In order to meet the needs of the station's three distinct visitor groups, the Monorail user, new NEXTEL users and existing customers, our work focused on addressing daily transit circulation, providing an enhanced visitor experience and existing customer satisfaction. Creating a common environment among these uncommon activities led to the introduction of a unifying architectural feature – The Ribbon. This Entry Lobby & Welcome Desk, The Center of Excellence & VIP Lounge, the Concierge and Business Solutions Center and the Flexible Exhibition Space and Retail Store into a singular visitor experience. The Ribbon encircles, divides and delivers visitors to all areas of the station.
Material in ASL Library: Form Core Boards, Project Description Form, Project Identification Form, Project Entry Form, Photo Release Form, Exteriors Photos, Site Plan, Floor Plans, Elevation, Sections, Interior Photos and CD
