Design Approach: This study examines the aspects of planning techniques of New Urbanism in mixed-use developments and building forms utilizing sustainability in architectural design as it relates to the community planning process and the redevelopment of urban core areas. The goal of the study is to create a new model of urbanism that possesses the ability to be sustainable and regenerative plus enhance the fabric of inner cities (in particular Reno, NV.)
