Circulation of Reference Materials
In general, reference materials may not leave the library. However, requests to borrow less heavily used materials for brief periods of time will be granted on a case by case basis. UNLV faculty and graduate students may check these materials out for no more than a week with a valid library card with staff approval. Approved requests will be sent to Circulation using a referral slip indicating for how long the item may be checked out and initialed by the staff member. Undergraduate students wishing to check out reference materials should be referred to the head of the Research & Information Department. Users outside the UNLV community cannot check out reference materials under any circumstances.
The Research and Information Department is unable to fax materials to users.
